MOLG and Magnuson Park
Magnuson Off Leash Group is a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to working with the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department to improve and maintain the off-leash area at Magnuson Park. Over the years MOLG has brought to life many welcome improvements such as the small/shy dog area, the washing station, and better drainage for the main field and smaller domed field. Join the Magnuson Off Leash Group and the
Magnuson Professional Dog Walkers' Association on Saturday. May 7th for our Spring Work Party.
Help us get the park in great shape before the busy summer season!
Bring sturdy gloves; we will provide necessary tools! Projects include cutting back
invasive plants, raking the paths, filling in holes, taking out the evil foxtails, and spreading gravel. Everyone and their dog is welcome!
Refreshments will be supplied for volunteers and donations will be accepted
to go towards the Poop Bag Fund! MOLG board members will be present to
answer any questions you have about MOLG.
